Germinating fresh seeds

How to properly germinate fresh seeds

It is essential to germinate all fresh seeds (either from a fruit or vegetable) so they can maximize their potential to grow. When it comes to the germination process, it is important to take into consideration that every seed has their own timeline.

For example, guava seeds may take up to two weeks to germinate while a lemon seed may take up to one week to be fully germinated. I’ve tested many methods of how to go about germinating fresh seeds, and I find it most effective when they are fully submerged in water in a small container.

I also find it effective to change the water inside the container every once in a while so that the seeds excess particles won’t negatively effect the germination process. Use lukewarm water to start and keep it under an LED light.
